Susana Soares Saraiva
Studied Architecture at FAUP (Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto), Portugal. Integrated Masters in Urban History - Portuguese Colonization Patterns. One year post-graduation/researcher in urban studies at Bauhaus Academy, Dessau, Germany. PhD on evidence-based design in the relations between housing and behaviour, from FAUP, Portugal.
Professional work developed mainly in Portugal for ten years, in projects ranging from big-scale urban planning, education and restoration to small-scale housing and interior refurbishment in all design phases. Experienced in managing projects, clients, and creative teams.
Academic work has been developed in Portugal (2004-06), Germany (2009-10), and Bahrain (since 2012).
Also engaged in graphic, product, and interior design, and especially photography.
